How to Browse the Site:
On every page, there is a category listing on the left side panel. Click on the category that you wish to view. Next, the main window will display any sub-categories or advertisements that are in that category. Select your choice.

How to register to the site:
On the top of the page, click on “register”. You only need to put in the information marked with an Asterisk.
How to contact a seller:
Click on an ad that you’re interested in. On the right side, there is a section called “Other Actions” or “Seller Info”. Inside each of those boxes, there is a contact seller link. Click on that and do your thing.
How to report abuse:
Click on the “report abuse” button below the ad in question. This will open an email for you to type in your report. It will be reviewed as quickly as possible.
How to search for an item:
You may do a regular search or an advanced search where you can plug certain criteria in to narrow down your results. Search is at the top of every page. Advanced search appears under the search text box in the listings pages while you are browsing.
How to save a favorite:
Click on an item that you want to save as a favorite. Click the button “add-to-favorites”.
How to search for specific listings every time (filter):
Go to the “My Account” link. Press “my filters”. Enter in the criteria that you’d like to see. For instance; if you live in NY State, filter for the term “New York” if you want to see only New York ads. You can also filter so you can only see one category if you so choose to do so as well.

How to list an ad:
Log into your account “tab labeled My Account”. Click on new classified in the top left corner. Follow the posting guidelines and then checkout. Even if you don’t owe anything, you must click the “checkout” button.
How to remove an ad:
In “My Account”, click on “active listings”. Find the ad you’d like to remove and click the red “X” on the far right of that ad. The ad will be removed.
How to create a sign or flyer:
Go to the “My Account” link. Press “print signs and flyers”. Customize them accordingly.
How to add to your account balance:
Go to the “My Account” link. Press “Add to Account Balance”. Type in how much you’d like to put into your account and press checkout. Input your payment details and see your account get credited.
How to receive payment for your sales:
I would suggest setting up a paypal account. All the transactions are secure and it’s guaranteed into your account as compared to a check. However, you may also meet up with the person in person to exchange your product and money. However you do it is up to you; please act responsibly and safely when dealing with other sellers. If you feel you will be put in an unsafe position, please use your common sense and not go through with the transaction.

How to log on:
Click the “Sign In” button at the top or try making a listing. Either way will pull you to the login screen.
How to contact the administrator:
Click on the “Contact Us” tab at the top of any page. Then fill out your information and we’ll get back to you.
Deciding on a price plan:
As I would love to say “buy the most expensive thing you can”, that would not fulfill my purpose here.
- Strictly a buyer – register for the standard plan; nothing in subscriptions or store is worth spending money for you.
- A buyer but may sell a few things here or there – Standard plan may also be right for you here as you are interested in listing free listings without any frills (extras to be noticed)
- A seller that wants results – Here is where it gets tricky. If you are going to be a seller, then you can get by with the Standard Plan. However, if you do a lot of bolding, attention getters, better placement or featured ads, it may be advantageous for you to look into one of the subscription plans.
- A serious seller/business owner selling products – You may want your own storefront or affiliate store front. An affiliate storefront will allow you to maintain a separate presence from textbookprofits.com but will allow you to utilize the sites infrastructure for your business needs.
This is your business and you know how much or how little you are going to sell and you know what types of “bells and whistles” you’re going to need to be noticed in the crowd. Since this is a business, make your own sales projections, and find out what will make you most profitable. Then run your numbers to find out where you most profitable plan may lie. It’s not always the most expensive solution.
