Textbookprofits Terms of Use

 As an introduction I just wanted to say thanks for coming to Textbookprofits!  To protect my hide and to make sure you get the service you expect when you sign up for this site, I have created the following terms which you automatically agree to when registering for this site.  Please note that as of July 15, 2009, this policy is in full effect.

 Basic Use of Textbookprofits.com

 Posting: 

 You will post in the category that’s most suitable to your ad

0. You will not violate any U.S. laws
0. You will not violate any  Textbookprofits.com policies
0. You will not make any ads be misleading or false
0. You will not make any infringements on any third-party rights
0. You will not distribute anything that resembles spam; which includes chain letters
0. You will not participate or lead a ponzi scheme or a pyramid scheme
0. You will not distribute viruses or other technologies that may harm the users of this site or the site itself
0. You will not bring down the site with DOS or any other sort of unreasonable traffic that may harm the user experience of the users of Textbookprofits.com
0. You will not use any person or company’s content without their consent
0. You will not use robots, spiders or any data extraction tools to access and collect information or data for any purpose unless Textbookprofits has given you written permission.  This includes email harvesting.
0. Remove or alter features to access areas you are not allowed to be in.

 Abuse System:

 Please use the abuse system in place to contact Textbookprofits.com for any thing that may be offensive or fraudulent.  If the members of this site contribute to making the site a better place, it will be easier for Textbookprofits to better serve you for more important needs; yours.

 All rights are reserved for Textbookprofits to remove and block users or even take legal action against them if they are abusing the site.  Also, this site is not and never will be guaranteed to be up and running at all possible times.  Every effort will be made to make sure all users will receive pro-rated refunds if this case should occur.  With this in mind, it is not the responsibility or liability of Textbookprofits to monitor for unauthorized or illegal content on Textbookprofits.  This means that you, the user, accept 100% of the responsibility and risk of using this site.

 Fees and Services.  Listing is and always will be free.  However extra services will generally incur a small fee.  You are able to review and accept each charge before being sold something you are not willing to buy.  All fees are in US Dollars.  As an attempt to be a global competitor, Textbookprofits.com reserves the right to change these fees for new members or old members at any time.  Promotional events are subject to change at anytime and cannot be used after they have past.

 All fees are non-refundable.  Textbookprofits.com does not carry a negative balance with its users to make these rules simpler for everyone.

 Stuff: All the “stuff” on this site is from Textbookprofits.com, you and other people.  It is not for you to share or take.  You may not modify or distribute copyrights or trademarks.  In accepting these terms, you give us consent to exercise the copyright, publicity and database rights to that content (These are needed to display and host your content.).  We will not use these as our own product.  However, if you believe we have violated your rights in some sort of way, please feel free to contact us at the contact us page. 

 Reporting Intellectual Property Infringements

 Do not post content that infringes the rights of third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, content that infringes on intellectual property rights such as copyright and trademark (e.g. offering counterfeit items for sale). We reserve the right to remove content where we have grounds for suspecting the violation of these terms, our policies or of any party’s rights. The following steps are for reporting a listing to Textbookprofits that you believe to be infringing on your intellectual property rights. Only the intellectual property rights owner can report of potentially infringing items or listings through Textbookprofits

 If you have a good faith belief that a listing on Textbookprofits infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights, all you need to do is notify us and Textbookprofits will review it.

 Liability: By accepting these terms, you agree to not hold us responsible for what other users post or do.  The accuracy of each posting is not guaranteed and neither is the character of the posters.  We are not liable for any losses incurred out of your use of Textbookprofits.com.  However, if we are found to be liable, our liability to you or any other party is limited to either the total amount of fees paid to us in the past 12 months or $100 (which ever is GREATER).

 Personal Information: It is collected.  That being said, you agree to the storage and use of the information by Textbookprofits.  However, this information will not be transmitted to any other party in any sense.

 General Terms:

 If a court removes any of these terms for any reason, all other terms are still considered legal.  If Textbookprofits does not enforce any rules currently, it is not waiving its future right to do so.

 100% of any risk involved with using this site, lies squarely on your shoulders.  Please accept at your own risk.
